Welcome to the historic and romantic city of Granada.  Nestled against the wall of the Alhambra on Cuesta Gomérez , this two bedroom apartment is in the perfect location for exploring the city.  All major attractions including the Alhambra, the Cathedral and the Arab quarter are within walking distance and every conceivable type of bar and restaurant is at your doorstep.  Enjoy an evening of tapas or Flamenco and feel the vibrancy of the city.

Although in the heart of Granada, the apartment - which is one of only twelve in the building - is situated in a very quiet and tranquil location near the famous Plaza Nueva.  Wind your way up past the fountains to the magical private terrace high up above the apartment building to the picnic area.  Here, privately, you can enjoy a glass or two of your favourite tipple while looking up to the Alhambra and out over the entire city.  “What a View!”

Accommodation: The apartment, situated on the second floor (there is a lift), has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom.  Both bedrooms have ample storage space.

There is a large open-plan lounge-diner with a CD player and radio.  A fully fitted kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, electric kettle and toaster, iron and ironing board.  There is also a small balcony with table and chairs so you can take breakfast al fresco.  Not forgetting of course use of the upper terrace to unwind at the end of a long hot day.  The apartment is heated for the winter months and has ceiling fans to keep you cool you in the summer.

For your convenience and because of restrictions at airports, we provide shampoo, bodywash, hand and liquid soaps.  Bed linen and bath and hand towels provided.

Granada Highlights:  One of the major attractions of Granada and indeed Europe has to be the Alhambra Palace which is really worth a visit.  It is advisable to pre-book this as there are limited numbers admitted each day.

Tapas Tour: You can book a personalised tapas tour  where a friendly guide will introduce you to the delights of typical Grenadian tapas (small tasters of local food) which you are given to accompany your drinks.  Highly recommended as a great way of finding your way around some of the more unusual bars in Granada.

Golf: There are a number of full-sized golf courses around the city, the nearest is the Santa Clara Club at Otura, just a few minutes drive south of the city.

Skiing: Skiing in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, approx 30 minutes drive.

Travel: The nearest airport is Granada, approximately twenty minutes by car.  A taxi from the airport to the centre of Granada will cost around 20 to 25 euros.  Alternatively there is a regular bus service that runs into the centre of Granada.  Málaga is about 90 minutes by car.   A car is not recommended in the city but can be hired locally, from the airport or preferably pre-booked via the Internet.

Distances: The coast at Salobreña is a one-hour drive.  The Alhambra Palace and the Cathedral are within walking distance.
